Event Description

Moot Court Competition between legal scholars from various law schools.  Federal and State Judges will be on the bench.

Event Objective

Begin a national dialogue engaging the legal and business community in the legal issue of millions of Puerto Ricans on the Island who are not able to vote for the President of the United States, creating an unconstitutional matter.

American History as taught in most American public schools alludes to the establishment of Jamestown Va. in 1607 as the beginning of America.  However European America began at St Augustine FL, with the arrival of Juan Ponce de Leon (directly from Puerto Rico) and the establishment of the city of St Augustine by Pedro de Melendez in 1511, the oldest European city on what is now the United States.  Thus Spanish was the first European language spoken in what is now Florida. Learn More
